Our journey so far
A long way in a short time
2020
Founded in 2020, Heijpiaat Shipping B.V. started its energy logistics operations. Modest in capacity, we had a clear vision. To set up a different kind of energy storage business. To do things differently. To think like our customers. Like true entrepreneurs. We still have this driving passion.
First Strategic Storage Terminal Opened
2021
In response to growing client demand, Heijpiaat Shipping B.V. launched its first state-of-the-art tank storage terminal. This marked a significant milestone in expanding our operational capacity and strengthening our position in the European energy logistics network.
Global Expansion
2022
With operations running successfully across the Netherlands, Heijpiaat Shipping B.V. expanded into key international markets. New logistics corridors and partnerships were established across Western Europe and West Africa, offering clients greater reach and flexibility in supply chain operations.
Sustainability Initiative
2023
As part of our commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility, Heijpiaat Shipping B.V. implemented a company-wide digital upgrade integrating real-time tracking, automated scheduling, and emissions-reduction technologies across our fleet and storage facilities.
Workforce Development
2024
We now have over 10 million m3 of storage capacity located across five continents. Our terminals are amongst the most advanced in the world. A combination of ultra-modern greenfield terminals and upgraded facilities, with years of trusted service behind them. We are always evolving to meet the needs of a constantly changing market.
